Packing List

Clothing:
Neutral-coloured clothing for game drives. Make sure your clothes aren’t too brightly coloured, and that includes white
A hat, scarf and beanie
A light jacket, windbreaker or fleece top for game drives – even during summer, as temperatures can drop after sunset
Swimwear and a sarong for the pool. Some of the camps in Kruger National Park have fabulous swimming pools to enjoy on a hot summer day!
Comfortable walking shoes and socks
Sandals or open footwear
Safaris are generally casual affairs, even at the luxury lodges, so no need to bring evening wear

Travel Necessities:
Sunscreen
Insect repellent
Any personal medicines (include original packaging and a list of instructions in case of an emergency)
A basic travel first aid kit:
Plasters
Antihistamine creams
Imodium
Pain killers
Rehydrate sachets
Anti-nausea tablets

Gear and Gadgets:
Binoculars and a camera. You don’t want to be without either of these on safari. (If you don’t want the weight in your luggage, we can arrange for you to hire these for the duration of your safari).
A good LED torch for at night when walking around the camps. Your cellphone torch is not really ideal!
Spare batteries and charging cables
